Women Play Sport Conference, November 7th-8th

Project 500 have been invited to speak at the Women Play Sport annual conference in Loughborough on November 7th and 8th.  We’ll be talking about our work to date including early project successes, progressive practice in other c…ountries, emerging opportunities and ongoing challenges in the UK.

Project 500 will speak alongside established organisations like the Women’s Sport and Fitness Foundations, US Girls, The FA and the Youth Sport Trust (to name a few) about the need to raise the stakes for female sport in the UK.

The conference will attract sports practitioners from every corner of the UK.

We need your help!
There’s no shortage of facts and figures about the dismal ratios of female to male coaches in the UK, but we want to make it more real.  We’re keen to hear from anyone involved in the project about your experiences prior to and since the start of Project 500.  Have you attended an event, been supported to attend a coaching course or made connections with other coaches who can support your coaching journey?  If so, we want to hear from you!

We want to bring the facts and challenges about female coaching to life with real-life examples of female coaches’ experience in sport.  If you have a story to tell us, please drop us a line via the Facebook page or Twitter using the #myP500story.  Be creative, so pictures and video testimonials are encouraged!
